Create a Buy One, Get One Coupon

How to create a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) coupon in Foxy, plus other repeat-style offers like "buy 3, get the 4th half off".

A Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer is a repeat discount: for a set number of qualifying items, another item is discounted, and the pattern repeats.

Steps

Go to the Foxy admin.

Go to Coupons and click the + (New coupon) button.

Enter a Name such as "Buy One, Get One Free".

Under Rules, set: IF quantity ≥ 2 THEN reduce price of next item BY 100 % percentage
- price of next item is the repeat type. It discounts every second item.
- For "buy 3, get the 4th at 50% off", use: IF quantity ≥ 4 THEN reduce price of next item BY 50 % percentage.

Save the coupon, then add a code under Codes.

BOGO uses the repeat type (price of next item), which repeats its single tier: buy 2 get 1, buy 4 get 2, and so on.
The repeat type accepts only one tier.
